Brandistry

After some careful brainstorming and planning, I decided to name my new company Brandistry. This will be the company that replaces the old Zoom Agent. My next podcast episode will probably talk a little bit about choosing this name, however here are a few reasons why I chose Brandistry:

(in no particular order)

1) one word name
2) on top of the alphabet (for directory listings)
3) says more about what my business does (brand management)
4) matching domain (I highly recommend having your domain match your business name)

Interesting name. As a brand manager, what services will you provide?

That's a great question, Lance. Here's a brief answer:

I help companies (from start-ups to large corporations) manage their brand(s). For the start-ups, this typically means creating an identity package (i.e. logo, business cards, website, brochure, etc.). For larger corporations, this typically means helping to create new sub-brands they might have or to bring all of their internal and external communications under control so it all looks consistent and professional. I consider branding to be anything that a company uses to communicate to its customers (from invoices to videos to websites), so basically my job is to make companies look good. All to often companies that do amazing things don't look so amazing and are losing out on opportunities to grow. This is where I come in and can help quite a bit.
