Business Brink

For whatever reason, I haven't really explained too well what it is that I'm doing as a new entrepreneur. So for those of you that have asked, here's a brief written version (you can see my quickie demo reel here):

- I've started a company called Zoom Agent (Zoom: denoting both speed and attention to details; Agent: because I represent the design needs for the client).

- After doing years of freelance design (print and web), I decided it was time to jump off the high dive and start a real business based on the design and business practices that I have been developing.

- I left my employment position to go after my business venture full time in October 2006.

- Zoom Agent offers two main type of contracts to clients: retainer-based and project-based

- Specializing in brand management, I offer clients the ability to have professional, clean design throughout all aspects of their business (everything from logo design and letterhead to websites)

- My next step is to start growing the company beyond my own capabilities, building a team of professional designers and developers.
