Apple CommercialI love this ad! Yes, I'm a Mac fan but that's not the only reason why I love their ads. Apple (along with a few other companies, like VW) seem to have their heads on straight when it comes to marketing their products. Of course, they can afford to market their products using less annoying tactics because they have great products.

Need for speed

Now that I'm using my Apple PowerBook full time, I've noticed that it just doesn't keep up with me. It was great for freelance stuff but it's time to turn up the volume and get something with a little more power. So, I purchased a new MacBook Pro. I'm (very) excited to get this so I can optimize my performance.

A few reasons I chose to get a MacBook Pro:

- So I can run Windows simultaneously for testing websites on (gasp!) Internet Explorer

- More memory

- More hard drive space (mine is coming with 160GB drive - I currently only have 80GB)

- Built-in iSight camera for video conferencing

- Brighter screen (it knocks your socks off!)

- I've been using Macs since 2000... and there's NO going back. Simply put, they're the greatest computers on the market.
